Garbage

Household residual materials that do not fall into any other category must be put in the garbage. These must be placed by the roadside at the earliest the day before the day of the collection. To consult the collection calendar, click here .

AGRICULtural plastics

All farmers in the Township of Dundee who generate plastics such as wrapping hay and silage bales, twine and rope, nets, tarpaulins and silage bags are invited to participate in the agricultural plastic recovery pilot project.

Township producers have access to three collection sites:

- Municipal garage of Saint-Anicet at 5001, route 132, Monday to Friday from 9
a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.;

- UNIAG Sainte-Martine at 195, rue Sainte-Marie, Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
a.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.;
- Municipal garage of Hinchinbrooke at 315, route 202; A collection day
will be held on this site every second Wednesday of the month between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Compost

The municipality puts at your disposal, bins for the composting of your organic rebuses. You would like to get yours, or lack space in your first that was provided to you? Contact us!

TOXIC WASTE

The RCM of Haut-Saint-Laurent proposes 4 days of deposit of toxic and dangerous materials per year. The dates, the places of collection as well as the information on the products which are admitted are detailed in the attached document.

Fluorescent bulbs

These bulbs contain mercury, do not put them in your usual recycling or garbage bins! Municipal office as well as the postal office are a drop off points for the fluorescent bulbs recovery program.

paints and oils

The municipality puts at the disposal of its citizens two recycling bins for used paints and dyes. It is also possible to deposit oils and aerosols in the darkest bin. We are not available to welcome you? Deposit your materials to be collected on the top of the bins and our employees will arrange to sort them in the appropriate bins.

metals

Small metal objects can go in the recycling bin. Sheet metal, scrap metal and other large metal objects must be recovered in an appropriate sorting centre. Also, metal recycling centers buy residual materials containing metal such as steel, iron, aluminum, copper, lead, zinc and others.

tires

Tires  cannot be placed on the road during garbage collection. It is also forbidden to abandon them in the environment just as it is forbidden to accumulate them on one's property. 

electronic materials

The municipality is affiliated with the Electronic Materials Recovery Association (EMRA). You can dispose of your old appliances by bringing them to the municipal office during our business hours.

construction waste

The Saint-Anicet ecocentre now accepts construction waste from the population of Haut-Saint-Laurent for a fee payable on site calculated on the quantity. For more information,
